代上20:1 过了一年，到列王出战的时候，约押率领军兵毁坏亚扪人的地，围攻拉巴；大卫仍住在耶路撒冷。约押攻打拉巴，将城倾覆。 (串)撒下11:1|本章1-3撒下12:26-31

本会注释　　第二十章记录了征战亚扪的完成（第1-3节），以及一些以色列英雄杀死非利士巨人的功绩（第4-8节）。相关记录见撒下11:1；12:26,30,31；21:18-22。
　　过了一年。直译是“新年开始”。这是一年的春天。军队通常在那时出兵打仗。多雨的冬天不合适军事行动。但到了春天雨停了，庄稼成熟了，正好为入侵的军队提供食物。亚述的文献记载军队通常在尼散月开始行动。尼散月是亚述和巴比伦年历的一月份。也是希伯来宗教年历的一月（见出12:2；申16:1，称为亚笔月；斯3:7），并且有可能是分裂后北方以色列国民用历的一月。犹大人的民用历是秋天的提市黎月（七月份）开始的。关于一年两个年初，见本书卷二册109-111,116页。
　　住在耶路撒冷。《撒母耳记》从这里接着讲述大卫与赫人乌利亚的妻子拔示巴的通奸（撒下11:2-27）。
　　约押攻打拉巴。到了围攻的高潮，约押请来了大卫，以便最后攻陷该城（见@撒下12:27-29@注释）。

代上20:2 大卫夺了亚扪人之王所戴的金冠冕（王：或作玛勒堪。玛勒堪即米勒公，亚扪族之神名），其上的金子重一他连得，又嵌着宝石；人将这冠冕戴在大卫头上。大卫从城里夺了许多财物， (串)撒下12:30

[kjv]And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.

本会注释　　一个他连得约重75磅。很难想象人会戴这么重的冠冕。如果这次所“戴”是冠冕，而不是像一些人所认为的一块宝石，那就必须有一种支撑装置，以托起这个重量（见@撒下12:30@注释）。

　　西比该。见@撒下21:18@注释。该处所记与非利士人作战的地点是歌伯，显然是基色附近的一个未确定的地方。西比该是大卫军队中一个英勇的指挥官（代上11:29；27:11）。
　　细派。或“撒弗”（撒下21:18）。

代上20:5 又与非利士人打仗。睚珥的儿子伊勒哈难杀了迦特人歌利亚的兄弟拉哈米；这人的枪杆粗如织布的机轴。 (串)撒下21:19|撒上17:4|撒上17:7

[kjv]And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff was like a weaver's beam.

　　睚珥。或者“雅雷俄珥金，一个伯利恒人”（撒下21:19）。
　　歌利亚。是大卫在年青时所战胜的勇士（撒上17:4）。迦特是巨人的家乡（代上20:6,8）。

代上20:6 又在迦特打仗。那里有一个身量高大的人，手脚都是六指，共有二十四个指头，他也是伟人的儿子。

[kjv]And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot and he also was the son of the giant.

本会注释　　这里的记录比撒下21:20简单。原文直译是：“他的手指和脚趾都是六个，共二十四个。”

代上20:7 这人向以色列人骂阵，大卫的哥哥示米亚的儿子约拿单就杀了他。 (串)撒下13:3代上2:13撒上16:9;17:13

[kjv]But when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David's brother slew him.

代上20:8 这三个人是迦特伟人的儿子，都死在大卫和他仆人的手下。
