。所罗门用自己在巴勒斯坦南部的首都来比喻他新娘的绝色美貌。耶路撒冷以美丽著称(见诗48:2;50:2;哀2:15)。

跳舞
。有人认为是指新娘陪娘和新郎伴郎的合唱队。也有人认为是指某种我们尚不了解的当地风俗。还有人认为应译为“二军兵”(玛哈念),引喻雅各回迦南时天军在玛哈念的迎接(见创32:1-3)。若是这样,那就是书拉密女在会合的地方跳起了玛哈念舞。
