山
。希伯来语是`ophel ,指耶路撒冷的东南方小山的北部(代下27:3;33:14;尼3:26,27)。
从前的权柄
。可能指大卫和所罗门治下的荣耀。根据预言实现的方式,从更广泛的意义上来说,恢复“从前的权柄”,指的是恢复因亚当的过犯而暂时失去的权柄(见@弥4:6@注释;诗8:6;见本书26-30页)。

没有君王
。应验于约雅斤和西底家被俘(王下24;25章)。
谋士
。这里与“君王”同义。“君王”的希伯来语词根是malak ,阿卡德语拼为malāku ,意思是“商量”、“劝告”。
灭亡
。圣经用产痛比喻悲伤,痛苦和惊讶(赛13:8;耶6:24;50:43;何13:13;帖前5:3)。

你要疼痛劬劳
。指将要被掳。
出来
。宣布将要被掳。犹太人将被赶出耶路撒冷,经过空旷的“田野”,前往巴比伦。与弥迦同时代以赛亚,也预言了巴比伦征服犹大(见赛39:3-8)。
蒙解救
。这个预言先在公元前536年古列治下,然后在亚达薛西治下得到部分的应验(见拉1:1-4;耶29:10)。但是回来的人并没有因流亡的管教和先知的训诲而实现属灵的复兴。换一句话说,从流亡巴比伦回到犹大的人没有达到弥4:1-8所描述的辉煌前景(见第6节注释)。

可能又是一个毁灭的象征。就像公牛以角抵戳受害者那样,以色列要消灭她的仇敌。

。打谷的方式用牛重踹打谷场上的禾捆。有时牛要拖着一个沉重的撬。金属会大大加快打谷的速度。
将他们的财献与耶和华
。战争的收获不应用来增加个人的财富,而要献给上帝,用来推进祂的国度。
