王
。第1-7节表达了会众感谢上帝赐给国王胜利。让公众承认祈祷得到应允是很有必要的。国王可能就是大卫。这里的原文ledawid意为“由大卫”或“为大卫”(见本书第616页)。这里可译为“与大卫有关”。
因你的能力
。战车和战马在上帝的大能面前显得无能为力(见诗20:7)。上一篇曾预言上帝的拯救(诗20:5,6,9)。现在实现了。古代犹太人的传统把这首诗视为弥赛亚之歌,故《塔古姆》采用了意译:“耶和华啊,弥赛亚王必因你的能力欢喜”。
